@Abeokutasfinest @IzDisNameTaken Even his writing on the other Riders in Zeztz isnt great IMO, I friggin hate Nox and how his whole character is just "The darkness within CODE" on repeat at infinitum and Sieg while not bad I just WANTED to stay as a genuinely evil dick instead of what he becomes at the end

@DiscussingRider It doesnt help that the memory wipes effectively make it so Yuya doesnt need to write character development for any of the side cast since they keep getting reset and the series already doesnt focus on them so its just an easy excuse to not focus on anyone besides Baku and Nem

@Cineph1leantron Baku in the beginning was great IMO, he was goofy but wasnt in your face like Aruto was, he was tragic and identifiable, and overall just really charming as this goofy chunibyo who wants to be an agent, but after episode 3 he just became a boring, stoic dude and never got better
