Across India, lakhs of us are extremely concerned about the deteriorating health of Mr Sonam Wangchuk who has been fasting since 28th June.
Whose duty is it to reach out & listen to him? THE MODI GOVT
While numerous Opposition leaders have expressed solidarity with @Wangchuk66 & @CJP_2029, there has been a shameful & pathetic silence from the Modi Govt.
The least that the Govt could’ve done was reach out to Mr Wangchuk & listen to his concerns. He is not protesting for himself but is doing so for lakhs of students. What would the govt lose by at least talking to him?
It is wishful thinking to expect a resignation from a shameless govt. But the fact that they’re ok even if Mr Wangchuk dies is a new low. He has lost over 8 kgs of weight in two weeks. His condition is EXTREMELY CRITICAL.
I’ve written to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urging him to at least communicate with Mr Wangchuk and listen to the concerns he’s expressing about NEET and CBSE on behalf of lakhs of students.
If anything happens to Mr Sonam Wangchuk, the Modi Govt & @dpradhanbjp must be held responsible for not even reaching out to him.

Instead of asking why opposition leader hasn’t supported CJP, or why every CJP team member isn’t on a hunger strike alongside Sonam sir, ask the questions that actually matter.
Why is the Prime Minister refusing to engage in a dialogue? Why is the Education Minister still not being held accountable?
These are the questions that deserve answers, not distractions that only help shield those in power from accountability.

Dear Sabeer ji,
You are absolutely right. What India needs is not merely a change of government, but a fundamental change in the way we think, the way we engage with the “system”, and the standards we demand from those who govern us.
That is exactly why we have been clear from the very beginning of this Jantar Mantar protest: this protest is an all-out attempt to restore the bare minimum of democratic accountability-a resignation. It is to make us reflect and ask when did we lose the culture of moral responsibility and statesmanship? When did those in public office stop believing that failure demands accountability?
This movement of the young has strived to expose the extent to which a government can become cruel, deaf, and dumb not only to the voice of the youth, but even to a man willing to sacrifice his life through a hunger strike for the country’s future.
This protest is a BATTLE that we hope to win in the short term. But the movement itself is a WAR. It’s a war against a system that has become totally corrupt, opaque and unaccountable, and one that has put so much fear and hopelessness in the minds of ordinary citizens.
We know that wars cannot be won in a month or two. They require patience, courage, organisation, and above all, a transformation in our collective political culture. We are fully conscious of the scale of change and weight of responsibility that lies before us. And we remain committed to walking that difficult path, however long it may take. And we hope well-meaning citizens will not just support us, but also guide us.✊🏻
BKU Charuni President Gurnam Singh Charuni ji joined the protest today at Jantar Mantar to show solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk and the protesters.
Thank you for your support!
Samajwadi Party Chief @yadavakhilesh had a phone conversation with Sonam sir, enquired about his health, and extended his support to CJP’s movement.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Akhilesh sir for standing with the youth of this country.
TMC Chief @MamataOfficial Di spoke to Sonam sir to enquire about his health. She urged him to stay strong and extended her solidarity to CJP’s movement seeking justice for students.
I sincerely thank Mamata Didi for her concern, solidarity, and support for our cause.
