@HonorableIntent@MBTYuGiOh Alright so I was specifically referring to edh in the tweet, and in that context particularly its them printing more and more powerful commanders. Specifically with this marvel set they are printing combo pieces that sit in the command zone. Thats the power creep.
@HonorableIntent@MBTYuGiOh I can post examples, but without being specific wotc has been printing truly diabolical combo pieces/win conditions with literal 0 or next to none downside. Thats the power creep.
@HonorableIntent@MBTYuGiOh Im aware of both of how both of these work. What im saying is if wotc didnt have the turnaround time necessary to entirely change ub cards to be better so they could drum up interest then theyre just printing new insanely powerful cards for no reason.
@HonorableIntent@MBTYuGiOh I think that leaves plenty of time personally. If not that then its just wotc being even more inept and power creeping the game the high heaven for no reason
@MBTYuGiOh Silver lining is this is actually good/bad for commander players. The more busted cards they print the more WOTC is going to get chewed out for their bracket system not doing anything because now its all bracket 4-5.
@MBTYuGiOh Yeah dude mtg is on fire right now and not in the good way. Every new ub set is just power creep x5000. Theres really no overlapping interest for the ub cards and wotc is so afraid of another spiderflop theyre making everything a redundant combo piece to inflate interest.
The wildest thing about gas prices going from $2.84 to $4.47 a gallon in a few months is that Donald Trump was mentioned in the Epstein files over 38,000 times.
@Etsu_Desu@Kasper_Jinx_Alt Bro ive seen 2026 characters ate the same number from worse fights, I dont expect him to be good or live but hes better than I thought.
