@JBBHoops1 He’s very predictable, this is his mindset no wonder Jaden has been just sitting in the corner for his whole career. He’d rather stay comfortable than risk trying to invest in future development. It’s getting ridiculous now because Mike doesn’t even give them consistency anymore
“It’s comfortable for us. It’s easy and it feels like the right thing to do right now.” — Finch in Conley starting. Said he thinks he can take some of the playmaking burden off of Randle.
Things I want to see:
Shannon and McDaniels on ball usage bump
Rob getting actual minutes and a longer leash to make mistakes
Naz at the 3 lineups to try and inject some offense into things (Beringer spot mins?)
Things I will get:
Conley 26 minutes a night
And you don’t make an effort to develop young talent you’ll never be able to keep up with the teams that do. Risking losing some regular szn games is necessary to have counters in the playoffs and to invest in your future talent
This is exactly the issue with the way Finch coaches. He’s rarely creative with anything he does because he just wants to be safe and comfortable all of the time. He goes with reliability and consistency even if the choice he’s making has been consistently ass

That’s why the Wolves end up in playoffs series or matchups in the regular season where they have no answers to what the other team is doing and they always seem like they’re scrambling/multiple steps behind the opponent. If you never try out of the box things in the regular szn-
