The great lie is that society is divided between rich and poor.
The great truth, as David Friedberg puts it, is makers vs takers.
Makers build, create, and deliver real value: houses, software, art, businesses, and everything that moves civilization forward.
Takers watch, criticize, analyze, and politic. They push the lie that the rich hoard unfairly so the poor must seize it… all while positioning themselves to rule the chaos.
As @friedberg tells his kids: “At the end of the day, if you made something and someone else valued it, you were a maker. That was an amazing achievement. That is a great day.”
Takers thrive on division. Makers drive progress.
Time to choose your side.
It's the 40th anniversary of Thornton Melon doing the Triple Lindy and winning the National Championship for Grand Lakes University.

Five players earned their way into the 2026 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in today’s qualifier at OSU-Scarlet. Good luck at Saucon Valley in July!
Thank you to The Ohio State University Golf Club for being such a great host as always!

The AI infrastructure boom is generating strong demand for skilled blue-collar workers. In fact, there’s a shortage of electricians, fiber technicians, and mechanical tradespeople needed to build and maintain AI data centers. Meta’s new $115M America’s Workforce Academy provides paid training plus job guarantees for exactly these roles. This is the kind of practical jobs training program that we need more of.
I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to be inducted into the Ohio High School Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary people throughout my lacrosse journey. I share this honor with the coaches who were true partners, players who trusted us, families who supported the process, trainers, administrators, and the many mentors who shaped my journey along the way.
To the incredible coaches who stood beside me throughout my years at Jerome, Titanium, and Under Armour - thank you. None of this would have been possible without your friendship, loyalty, hard work, humor, and time invested in our players.
The best reward of my lacrosse journey has been seeing so many former players thrive beyond the field.
Thank you to everyone who was part of the ride. I’m deeply appreciative of all of you and incredibly thankful for the impact you’ve had on my life.
It’s hard to believe that Teddy has passed. No one has had a larger impact on the sport of lacrosse in Ohio.
I was fortunate to have coached many great games against Ted’s @UAMensLacrosse teams while at @SciotoLAX and @djmenslax. He was always classy and gracious in victory and defeat (and he won far more than he lost).
Ted’s passing is a massive loss for the Ohio lacrosse community. He was the GOAT.
It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of Coach Ted Wolford.
Teddy was a coach, a mentor, a husband, a friend, and will always be- a legend.
Please keep his wife Vickie, all of his siblings, and the 3132 family in your thoughts and prayers.

@Tesla@elonmusk the past few software updates have created major issues for our S and X. In FSD, both cars randomly break, swerve, and struggle to stay within the lane. As a long time, Tesla owner, this is the worst our cars have ever driven. The same is true for another friend of ours that has an X.
🚨 Simulation Theory: The Double Slit Experiment proves particles act like waves until observed then they snap into particles.
What if our reality only "renders" when we're looking, just like a video game optimizing resources?
Check out this episode from The Why Files breaking it down, tying it to Simulation Theory. Are we in a sim?
This could be the key to unlocking the true nature of existence!
The Why Files video did a great job on explaining the Double Slit Experiment & Simulation Theory
What do YOU think—real or rendered? Drop your thoughts below!
Friendly reminder that AI will never be worse than it is right now.
If you assume any rate of improvement over any reasonable period - learning how to use it becomes your #1 priority.

Most people are playing the wrong game.
If you want to get rich, there are only 3 games that actually matter.
Everything else is a distraction
