@omarali50 If u havenโt , highly recommend reading Anger Management by @Ajaybis - IG surrounded herself with pandits, who advised her she has to be โmagnanimousโ ๐ฌ!
IG got fooled. But the gud thing is Simla, Lahore, Agra, have all hardened ๐ฎ๐ณ mind!
Not just Modi, nobody in ๐ฎ๐ณbelieves ๐ต๐ฐ
This is a crazy development.
I have projects that were to run on Fable today - and they will come to a grinding halt. ๐ข
Across the world, this will make countries feel they cannot continue to rely on American technology.
National missions to build frontier AI may get a boost.
Yes, guardrails for frontier AI are essential - and Anthrophic itself has argued for it. But creating national barriers isnโt the solution.
A pleasure to join this seminar on strategic issues in the cool climes of Kasauli. Had the opportunity to share my thoughts on Indiaโs diplomatic options in times of global uncertainty.

A seminar on โFuture Wars & India's Multidomain Preparednessโ was conducted at #Kasauli . The discussions focused on global uncertainties impacting India, maritime and aerospace power, artificial intelligence and the role of media in shaping narratives in multidomain warfare. Senior military officers, subject matter experts and a former diplomat participated in the seminar.
Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C #CentralCommand, interacted with the audience and emphasised the need for integrated warfighting capabilities, adoption of emerging technologies, the enduring importance of the human element and the growing significance of information and psychological operations in future conflicts.

GDP numbers today of FY26 at 7.7% with Q4 estimated at 7.8%.
The chart below shows the trend of GDP growth.
But for the war we did not start, this year we were poised to go for higher than 8% growth.
The @RBI's GDP estimates for this year are at 6.6%.
Economists believe that we should do a bit better than this.
So, GDP is shaved but not sunk.
Ignore the merchants of doom.

Australian firm @airtrunk is powering Indiaโs global tech ambitions. I met with AirTrunk's Founder & CEO Robin Khuda to discuss their $30B data centre investment in India. A powerful example of the scale and ambition of AustraliaโIndia ties. @blackstone
Indiaโs digital infrastructure journey is gathering remarkable momentum.
AirTrunk has announced plans to invest around Rs. 3 lakh crore ($30 billion) in India, and develop 5 GW of data centre capacity. This is among the largest proposed investments in the countryโs digital infrastructure ecosystem.
Such investments will strengthen Indiaโs position as a global hub for cloud computing and AI, while generating employment opportunities, supporting local supply chains and accelerating innovation-led growth.
It is clear that the future of the worldโs digital economy is increasingly being shaped in India!
Addressed the opening Ministerial Plenary Session, 'From Political Reset to Commercial Delivery' in Toronto, alongside my counterpart Mr. @MSidhuLiberal, Minister of International Trade of Canada.
Spoke about India's continued efforts to enhance ease of doing business & create an investor-friendly environment and invited businesses & industry leaders from Canada to be active participants in India's growth story.
Highlighted how the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) will serve as a key catalyst in expanding trade & investment ties while opening new avenues for collaboration across sectors.
Confident that the next chapter of the India-Canada economic partnership will be driven by trust, leading to the shared prosperity of our nations. ๐ฎ๐ณ๐จ๐ฆ

Weโre negotiating a free trade deal with India. This will be a game changer for Canadian workers and businesses โ unlocking a massive new market.
Weโre working fast โ I met Minister @PiyushGoyal to review our progress so far and explore the opportunities ahead for both our countries in energy, agri-food, tech, and education.
Good to meet with friends and partners this week on the Canada-India strategy and the next steps.

Thanks @SirohiSeema123 for dropping in for my DC session and for sharing your always insightful โletter from Washingtonโ. A new perspective in reading your assessments in DC rather than Delhi! I think Rubioโs visit to India and the Quad FMโs meet will mark the start of a better bilateral phase for the friendship with benefits!
FICCI and the Observer Research Foundation America collaborated on a roundtable discussion on 'India and Pakistan: One year after Operation Sindoor'. The discourse provided insights into geopolitics and Indiaโs strategic positioning. Anchoring the discussion was Mr @d_jaishankar, Executive Director, ORF, with Ambassador Mr @Ajaybis. The participants in Washington, DC, included bureaucrats, think tanks, and industry leaders.

Earlier today, @orf_america hosted @Ajaybis, Indiaโs former High Commissioner to Pakistan, for a conversation on India-Pakistan relations one year after Operation Sindoor.

For #India, the stakes are pragmatic: stability in West Asia is critical for energy security, diaspora safety, and #connectivity. A #USโ#Iran de-escalation, regardless of #Pakistanโs role, serves #Indiaโs interests: @Ajaybis https://t.co/IoiWQOgMlH
