The Motera Ashram of Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu is a living Sanskritik Dharohar, a sacred space where service, environmental protection, and spiritual traditions converge. For decades, this tapo‑bhumi has nurtured society through Bal Sanskar Kendras, meditation camps, Gau Seva, and campaigns for health, de‑addiction, and cultural preservation.

Just as every Vedic mantra begins with Om, and every recitation with Hari Om, so too every auspicious occasion must begin with the worship of Lord Ganapati. From Upanayan to Vivah, those who invoke Ganeshji at the start of sacred rites receive akshaya punya and divine blessings.

On #GaneshChaturthi, this worship holds special significance. Chanting the Ganesh Gayatri Mantra — Mahakarnaya Vidmahe, Vakratundaya Dhimahi, Tanno Dantih Prachodayat — pleases the Lord of Wisdom, ensuring purity of intellect and success in all endeavors. Students, in particular, are urged Sant Shri Asharamji Bapu to remember Ganapati, Maa Saraswati, and Sadgurudev before study, for this sanctifies the mind and sharpens concentration.

Tradition also warns: चंद्रदर्शन निषिद्ध — seeing the moon on Ganesh Chaturthi invites blemish. If seen by mistake, one should respectfully read or listen to the Syamantaka Mani episode from the Bhagavatam (Skandha 10, Adhyaya 56–57). Moreover, viewing the moon on Bhadrapada Shukla Tritiya or Panchami mitigates the ill effect.
