Saddened to learn of passing of Mary Munson. We only worked together once, on "Saving Louisbourg", but she had a long and accomplished career with CBC. And recently published her first book.
@AnneMarieLaneJ1@stillots1 @lyn3690 It looks like everyone will sooner or later get Covid. Hope yours is mild. Mine was back in late June. Get well soon.
@l4smith @AnneMarieLaneJ1@ruralcolonialNS @kirimsa Louisbourg was a wonderful project to work on. I arrived in 1977. The buildings were all up by that point so Ken Donovan, Sandy Balcom and I researched and wrote about social, religious snd military history. Great to be part of a team.
@AnneMarieLaneJ1 @l4smith @ruralcolonialNS @kirimsa The Beatles mug was supplied by Jim Campbell (artifact specialist in Archaeology). It was an evocative touch. In truth, I don’t drink coffee and never did. Horst Paufler (Head of Exhibits) asked me to pose as the Historian.
Wonderful addition by @NimbusPub to 2nd printing of Kings of Friday Night: The Lincolns. Tom Ryan, Costas Halavrezos and I combined to create that video. @tomryanauthor @CWNH
Here is a link to a conversation co-author Jesse Francis and I had with Radio-Canada's Nathalie Geddry. The focus was our new book, "Ancient Land, New Land," published by Acorn Press. #acornpress
