Anthony Davidson: "I’ve looked at this so many times and I can’t work out why he gets a penalty. For me, he slows down sufficiently well. We’ve got this marker board on the left-hand side that stipulates the 80km /h speed limit. I don’t see that [speeding]. Let’s have a look at the exit. Obviously knew he was under time pressure to get out in that race with Antonelli. Again, for me, it sounds like he releases the pit lane button on the line itself."
"This guy knows what he’s doing when it comes to white lines and when to press the button. Maybe there was just an error when he was a bit too close to the line on the actual speed of the car and they were just pinged by that. Who knows."
"Strange that it only happened that one time. I don’t have enough data here and I can only go by the sound of when he’s pressing that button. For me, it looked totally fine on the way in, and on the way out."
@CFCGuss@ScuderiaFerrari@Charles_Leclerc@LewisHamilton@peroniuk Stfu your golden boy hasn’t done fuck all at Ferrari in all the years he’s been there, Lewis came into the team and has transformed the team your golden boy done Jack shit and will never be a world champion……. #AusGP 🇦🇺 | Lewis Hamilton will push Ferrari to do the same as Mercedes if the FIA doesn’t intervene:
“They [Mercedes] didn't show that they could turn it up in testing and now they've got this extra power from somewhere.”
“We need to understand what that is. I hope it's not this compression ratio thing. Hopefully, it's just pure power and we've got to do a better job.”
“But if it is the compression thing, then I will be disappointed that the FIA allowed that to be the case, that it's not to the book.”
“I will be pushing my team to do the same thing so we can get more powerful.”
FIA’s refusal to enforce 2026 engine limits until Jun is a disaster for F1. Allowing Merc to exploit the 'thermal expansion' loophole for the first 7 races isn’t innovation, it’s sanctioned rule manipulation. This isn't racing; it’s a rigged start that kills the sport’s integrity
Looking at the onboards is honestly so deflating.
Do we really have to make everything about sustainability? Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motorsport in the world. Can we just not let it be so?
Proper racing is about engines. Not batteries.
🚨🎙️Fernando Alonso Comments On Mercedes' Compression Ratio "trick" & The FIA's Responsibility:
"It's not good to start behind someone who is exploiting something that shouldn't be exploited, but this is also Formula 1, so you have to understand that everything that happens is controlled by the FIA and you have to accept the final decision."
"I trust the FIA to control and monitor this, and I trust Honda and Aramco to ensure that our engine is competitive enough."
🚨 | Juan Pablo Montoya: “Hamilton’s frustration comes from the fact that he feels he’s doing more than Ferrari is doing for him. I think he feels very committed to trying to make things work, but the team isn’t up to par.”
“If you give Lewis the right tools and the right car, he becomes unstoppable. He’ll give absolutely everything next year because he doesn’t want to leave Formula 1 without his eighth title. He’ll either win it or ‘die’ trying.”
#F1 | Juan Pablo Montoya: “The sooner [Ferrari] listens to Hamilton about how to improve the car, the better it will be for the team in the long term. If you give Lewis the right tools and the right car, he becomes unstoppable.”
