Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. For example someone could be an amazing public speaker but a horrible test taker and it’s unfair to evaluate someone based on one test grade.
#sjuxav @kennethcXHS I agree that standardized test scores can not determine a person’s intelligence. Intelligence isn’t only much a person learns in school. Intelligence is gained through outside knowledge and experiences.
#sjuxav@saltrantinoxhs online school definitely shouldn’t be the new norm for education however it is definitely a great option to have to extenuating circumstances.
#sjuxav Although this article supports crypto currency and proves good points I don’t think it would work in todays world. I feel like the transfer from one currency to another would create a whole different issue.
As a part of a big family, plans never work out. No matter how much we plan something always changes wether it’s parents work, kids schooling or sporting events. Even trying to plan a vacation is nearly impossible. #sjuxav
I agree with argument that School should be pushed back. On top of all the points he’s making and the detriments to our health, another important aspect is that students also have lives outside of school. For example I have practice 3 times a week from 8:15 to 10:45 at night
@isabellagxhs#sjuxav I definitely agree that this ground breaking technology will change the future of medicine but you never know peoples true intentions and if this technology ends up in the wrong hands it may not be used for the good it was intended for.
@rosina_xhs22#sjuxav I agree with this article and all of their points. The SAT and ACT shouldn’t be used as a determining factor on wether you get into the college or not. Every student is different and many aren’t good test takers. Additionally, these standardized tests are
I agree that the name of university’s and other institutions should change if they are affiliated with a raciest background. There have been other schools who have already done this. #sjuxav
#sjuxhs I agree that great athletes don’t make great coaches. There are many qualities needed as a coach that athletes don’t necessarily get just from being a great player. While the skill and athleticism helps, not everyone will have the same levels of skill
@Supremexhs#sjuxav I think there are so many more factors that need to be discussed to have a final decision on what the right thing to do is. I also don’t necessarily follow basketball so I don’t know where I stand in this topic.
@kbarbieri_xhs#sjuxav Another quote I think that is suitable for this topic is “Heal before having children, so your children don’t have to heal from having you as a parent.”
@kbarbieri_xhs@mrslouisa7100 I agree with the point that Mrs. Louisa made in class. The saying “monkey see, monkey do” really applies to this situation. Kids are so aware of there surroundings and pay attention to little details we didn’t even know could make a difference.
@kbarbieri_xhs her editorial was well proven because she used credible sources, provided personal experience, and touched upon both point of views on the topic. #sjuxav
I feel like there are pros and cons to every single situation however in something that seems so good for our environment it’s shocking to see that the cons might actually outweigh the pros. #sjuxav
In this situation, I think the outcome could’ve been different depending on the setting and the audience. Although we do have freedom of speech, there still needs to be a sense of respect and you should always think before you speak. #sjuxav
