CM D.K. Shivakumar wrote to Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, inviting him and five representatives for a meeting at Vidhana Soudha on June 26 at 11 AM.

Kumaraswamy has now responded, seeking that the meeting be held in Bidadi or Byramangala instead, with participation from affected farmers, villagers, labourers, traders and other stakeholders.

He has also requested that the meeting be rescheduled to June 27, citing prior commitments, and said discussions excluding affected communities would not be productive.
