The Interoceanic Energy Corridor is one of the Canal’s most important diversification projects. The project includes a 76-kilometer pipeline and two maritime terminals, designed to move up to 2.5 million barrels of energy products per day between the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. The pipeline alone is expected to create many jobs during construction and operations.
