@SecCardona@POTUS Do you, though? Do you see the ones that were left behind entrapped in JCLs @SecCardona?
This tweet is infuriating & careless.

Congratulations Marjorie!
We are fighting to ensure more people are eligible for public student loan forgiveness and stories like Marjorie's show that our efforts are working!
250 days being told by @Navient that they won’t apply admin forbearance until @usedgov forces them to and @FAFSA closing complaints with zero response. @SC_DoUsPart
246 days and no one can give clear or inconsistent answers. @usedgov@FAFSA and @Navient all give inconsistent information and blame each other for why admin forbearance is available to some but not all when waiting for the separation of JCSLs.
This is ridiculous! That’s almost 8 months I have continued to pay my exes portion of the loan, 8 months of waiting for my PSLF to be processed after 24 years in Education & 8 months @Navient refused forbearance during this separation! @SC_DoUsPart@FAFSA@usedgov
@usedgov@FAFSA Unless its JCSL & wait for @FAFSA & @usedgov to do their job sep these loans. Until then I pay not only my portion that should be discharged after 24 yrs of service & my exes portion-bcs @Navient refuses forbear until FAFSA orders them to &PSLF can be processed. @SC_DoUsPart
@FAFSA Make sure @Navient follows your guidance and places FFEL Spousal Consolidation Loans in Administrative Forbearance pending the implementation of the Joint Consolidated Loan Separation Act. To date they refuse to do so. @SC_DoUsPart. @CFPB
@mjkwarchak @SecCardona@FAFSA I would love to know this! I called @FAFSA after my complaint was closed w/ no response & was told it was transferred to JCSL department. I asked for information about when it would be processed or how to talk to someone they couldn’t or wouldn’t give me answers. @SC_DoUsPart
@SecCardona We "deserve" @usdoegov implementing the Joint Consolidated Loan Separation Act so we can access the PSLF waiver and expanded IDR initiatives. We also "deserve" @Navient following @FAFSA guidance & granting Administrative Forbearance until the JCLSA is implemented. @SC_DoUsPart
We deserve action by YOU to follow the law and do your job to come up with a process to separate JCSLs. Until then you can do your job and give guidance to lenders like @Navient to apply admin forbearance while we wait like states on FAFSA website. @SC_DoUsPart@FAFSA
It's not an exaggeration: teachers change lives.
Teachers build relationships with students and believe in their potential, even when they don’t see it yet themselves.
They deserve action that shows America truly values them.
@dragonsmoke_15@itsabbyyyyy @JStein_WaPo Not everyone has had a pause. Those with JCSLs have had to pay the whole pandemic-often both parties portion even after law was passed allowing separation of these loans.
This! @Navient refuses to follow @FAFSA guidance, gives false & inconsistent information each time Had ex call in w/ me & told would get 2 month admin forbearance only to get a denial letter & next call told they never said that &no admin forbearance for JCSLs @SC_DoUsPart
@FSACOO Learn more about the Joint Consolidated Loan Separation Act. Passed both Houses of Congress & signed by the President last October. Still not implemented. @Navient refuses to grant the Administrative Forbearance provided by @FAFSA guidance. Implement or cancel. @SC_DoUsPart
