Cheapest Horo figures I've ever bought! Except for the UPS ransom fees!! Everything just keeps arriving now that Japan is finally opened. Megumi waited 290 days before shipping. And the two Horos 117 days.

Interesting sticker there on Megumi. Only for sale outside of Japan. 🤔

So happy. I can finally ship EMS/Surface Parcel from Japan instead of paying DHL's ransom fees. Cost for todays shipment went from $115+duty+tax+DHL fees to $35+duty. Yeah it'll take more than 4 days to arrive but I'm super cool with that.

Apparently I did 811 km worth of laps on track this summer. Pretty decent first year I think.

Went out for another track day this weekend at Grand Bend Motorplex. Best lap I could do for the day was a 1:17.91. But my new iPhone 14 Pro was producing bad data a lot of the time. Bleh.

DHL's revenue was up 22.5% in 2021, and were up a further 23.4% in Q2 2022. This has absolutely nothing to do with the increased cost of anything.

I can't do this anymore. Why can't any other shipping option exist from Japan to Canada? DHL wants $172 to ship two items, and will certainly charge me another $115 in taxes, duty, and fees. Which will make shipping MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ITEMS.
