In school this week, we are reflecting on the virtue of commitment. Pupils are exploring what commitment means to them and how they can practise this virtue in both their academic and faith journeys.
Collective worship is an integral part of our school culture and routine. This week, pupils will be introduced to the prayer and reflection routines which will take place throughout the school year, along with the importance of prayer.

We are reflecting on the virtue of reverence. Pupils are learning that reverence means living with awareness that we are always in the presence of the Creator and that all life is precious. They are exploring how reverence can be shown through moments of prayer & reflection.
We are reflecting on the end of the school year. Pupils are celebrating their hard work and new learning, while also preparing for their next steps into a new year group or school. We are encouraging pupils to embrace change with confidence, resilience & optimism for the future.
This week, pupils will be celebrated for their achievements & contributions, with special recognition given through the Baba Puran Singh Ji Award & the Terry Green Award, honouring those who have shown exceptional service & commitment to our school community.
Pupils are learning that practising justice means being fair in all that we do and treating others with equality and respect. They are exploring how justice involves thinking carefully for ourselves, standing up for what is right, and protecting the rights of others.
We are exploring Golden Thread 3: Trust in the Divine. Pupils are reflecting on what it means to place trust in God & how faith can guide & strengthen us, while also learning from examples of individuals whose belief in God & virtuous living has influenced their choices & actions
Pupils are learning that being honest means being truthful, sincere and trustworthy in our words & actions. They are exploring how honesty involves telling the truth, admitting mistakes, keeping promises, & doing what we say we will do, even when it feels difficult.
This week, we are marking World Refugee Day. Pupils are learning about the experiences of refugees & reflecting on the courage & resilience of those who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict or persecution, while considering how we can show empathy & support.
Pupils are learning that faith is trust in God & confidence that our lives have purpose & are created with love. They are exploring how faith can give strength during difficult times, helps us to remain hopeful, grateful & open to God’s will, while turning to prayer for guidance.
This week, we are commemorating the Shaheedi of Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Pupils are learning about Guru Ji’s sacrifice and reflecting on the values of compassion, resilience, forgiveness and selfless service, while exploring how these teachings can guide us in our everyday lives.
We are reflecting on the virtue of courage. Pupils are learning that courage means being brave in the face of fear and doing what is right, even when it feels difficult or uncomfortable. They are exploring how courage helps us to try new things, face challenges, & keep going.
In school this week, we are marking World Caring Day. Pupils are reflecting on the importance of kindness, compassion and empathy, while exploring how caring for others can help create a more positive, supportive and connected community
This week, we are reflecting on the virtue of contemplation. Pupils are learning how taking time to think deeply, reflect and be still can help us better understand ourselves, others and the world around us. They are exploring how contemplation can open the heart and mind.
In school this week, we are marking World Environment Day. Pupils are learning about the importance of protecting and caring for our planet, while exploring how small everyday actions can contribute towards a greener, healthier and more sustainable future for all.
In school this week, we are reflecting on the virtue of accountability. Pupils are learning how taking responsibility for our actions helps us grow, learn from mistakes, and build trust with others.
