What a ride! An incredible story, memorable characters with fantastic designs, and phenomenal animation and art style.
I really loved the character development everyone was morally gray and the writer didn't try to create flawless, perfect characters.
@TheRealJTV4K60 They talk with such confidence, as if every PC out there will be able to run GTA at 60 FPS. They clearly have no clue about the Steam Hardware Survey and what percentage of users actually have a rig stronger than a PS5 Pro.
@TheRealJTV4K60 Also, emulating PS5 games stopped too, because as of October 21st, Anthropic tightened Claude's guardrails including for Opus to block requests related to decompilation and game reverse engineering.
Thank God this nonsense is finally coming to an end.
@TheRealJTV4K60@SynthPotato All of Synth Potato's posts are just engagement farming. Thank god I never see them on my timeline.
The guy isn't even a console gamer.
@TheRealJTV4K60@capcom Also, we shouldn't forget about the Tempest Engine. packing roughly the raw compute power of an entire PS4 CPU just for audio.
The Tempest Engine offloads heavy audio processing from the CPU, which can make a noticeable difference in an open-world game like GTA.
GTA 6 is 18 days away.
The Jason Schreier / Bloomberg article released 18 days ago.
You guys know I love putting time into perspective like this. I assure you, the game will be here in what feels like tomorrow. We’re even closer than you probably think we are LMAO.
@DaReelSebas I haven't watched a single game review on YouTube in like eight years; I only watch technical analyses of games.
You can't even trust those anymore either. Take Digital Foundry, for example they've really fallen off and just aren't professional like they used to be.
@oliver_drk You made a great point. It looks like Microsoft really didn't expect the game to perform this poorly, and this is going to massively influence their future decisions.
Wild how people still treat Jason Schreier like just another journalist.
The man has direct, confidential ties to devs inside literally every major AAA studio.
Love him or hate him, his reporting pressured giants like Rockstar and Naughty Dog to overhaul their crunch culture.
Bloomberg's Jason Schreier confirms Gears of War: E-Day cost $500m to make, matching Kotaku’s report.
“That is a real number. That is real. That’s what we’re looking at here, that’s what [AAA] games cost to make. Especially in North America these days.”
