Yesterday, I came across a poster on Alimony Gopal near P. L. Deshpande Garden, Pune that raised some important questions. In certain cases, we hear of demands such as ₹40 lakh for a marriage that lasted only 40 days, and sometimes even higher amounts like ₹50 lakh or ₹1 crore for 3-6 months of marriage.

No man or woman should have to suffer due to the misuse of laws. Justice must be fair, balanced, and based on the facts and circumstances of each case.

What we need is justice for all, accountability for all, and respect for all—not a system where any individual is treated unfairly because of their gender.

@DeepikaBhardwaj Just watched #Bandar what an incredible film. It beautifully shows the harsh realities we come across every day but are rarely shown on the big screen. Most of my friends (both guys & girls) avoid talking about these issues, but I hope this film sparks an important conversation
