My personal favourite activities during online classes would be any sort of interactive elements. Examples would be using online resources such as kahoot and conducting short quizzes based on the course material. These definitely keep students interested

The best way to help professors excel in this standard online is by voicing any of your concerns and questions. If you do not want to during lectures you can always email your professor afterwards any of your concerns such as teaching too fast.
