I ordered an ASUS Vivobook 15 (Order #OD438400527288088100) which was delivered on August 25. The laptop is Dead on Arrival (DOA) with a completely corrupted OS showing Windows Boot Error Code 0xc0000185 right out of the box.
I raised a return request on the exact date of delivery (Aug 25). Despite this:
1. Scheduled technician visits on Aug 28 & Sept 1 were completely missed by Flipkart's team with zero show-up.
2. The system auto-rejected/closed my tickets due to technician no-shows.
3. Now, Flipkart Customer Care is asking ME to physically visit a brand service center to obtain a "DOA Certificate."
As per Consumer Protection regulations and Flipkart's own return policy, doorstep technician inspection for DOA units is Flipkart’s legal obligation. Forcing the customer to arrange a DOA certificate for a product delivered defective within the return window is unacceptable.
My return request window is locked to August 25. Please process the pickup and issue an immediate full refund without further delay.
Delivered DOA ASUS Vivobook with corrupted OS/blue screen error (0xc0000185) on Aug 25. Return raised same day, but technicians missed appts on Aug 28 & Sept 1. Now forcing me to get a DOA cert myself instead of doorstep check.
