Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) spokesperson SP Racheal Kawala has confirmed that police are in custody of a woman they identify as the late Moses Matovu’s girlfriend to assist with the ongoing investigations.

SP Racheal Kawala, in a statement, revealed that Matovu visited his girlfriend’s residence in Kibuli at 5:30 am where he was confronted by another man who is also alleged to have previously been in a relationship with the same lady.

Police confirm that the male suspect fled the scene and is yet to be arrested, but the lady is in their custody to help with the ongoing investigations.
