Journalists and media professionals are at risk of mental health issues due to the demanding nature of their work. Being on the frontline often exposes them to trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Reporting on traumatic events can significantly impact their mental well-being. In response, @AMWIK and @SEPAR_Inter conducted a mental health awareness initiative, offering therapy sessions for journalists to support their #MentalHealth.

Henix Obuchunju, Pamoja FM news editor through Akcmo support conducted a conflict-sensitive reporting and gender inclusion training at Ruben FM in Nairobi County.
