The AKG has responded to the events of the weekend of P&S Officers reporting to work. We appreciate the museum clarifying the situation and we apologize for acting on reports that turned out to be erroneous, despite our best efforts to make sure they were verified and accurate.

Museum security guards are not Tier 1 essential workers. Workers who decide not to go into work are required to use their PTO time or not receive pay.
