The #Sholay theatre watch was supposed to be a simple, fun evening. But then, this scene arrived.

Ramgarh village finds itself in conflict about whether Jai-Veeru can stay there anymore. Imaam Saheb, who has just lost his son, says that it's better to die respectfully than live with shame.

The entire village is compelled to self-respect, and then 'Allahu Akbar' plays in the background. As Imaam Saheb walks away towards the mosque, the village looks at him, speechless. He has quietly solved a problem after facing the biggest loss of his life.

I had goosebumps. This is what our cinema was about. Religion was always used as a guiding light, as a positive force. Never to divide.

This is where the victims' families, or the victims themselves, if they’re able, need to speak out and hold journalists accountable for misleading headlines.

He didn’t simply 'CRASH' into a crowd; he intentionally drove into people with the intent to cause serious harm.
That’s why it was initially reported that police were planning to charge him with attempted murder. Yet, that no longer seems to be the case.

According to the Guardian;
Paul Doyle, 53, from the West Derby area of Liverpool, was charged with dangerous driving, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, wounding with intent to cause GBH, and attempting to cause GBH with intent.

The charges he faces relate to six victims, and two of the charges, wounding with intent and attempted grievous bodily harm, relate to a child.

Merseyside police said 50 people were treated at the region’s hospitals. The oldest person injured was 78, the force said on Thursday.

At least 79 people were injured. The North West ambulance service said 27 people were taken to hospital, with two of the injured, including one child, having sustained serious injuries.

Four children were injured in total, the youngest aged nine, and 20 people were treated at the scene, the ambulance service said.
