@JacobsBen Six relatively similar incidents too..... but no mention of them because they don’t generate interactions like Messi and Argentina do, right?🫣

On the 13th of Muharram, the holy city of Karbala witnesses one of its most poignant and historic processions — the grand condolence juloos (mourning procession) of the Bani Asad tribe, joined by other Iraqi tribes. This annual ritual revives the sacred memory of the burial of Imam Hussain (a.s.), his family members, and his loyal companions after the tragedy of Karbala.
The Historical Event
After the heart-wrenching events of Ashura (10th Muharram, 61 AH), the bodies of the martyrs lay unburied for three days under the scorching sun on the plains of Karbala — trampled, headless, and exposed. The enemy army of Umar ibn Sa’d departed with the captives (including the women and children of Ahl al-Bayt) and the severed heads.
On the 13th of Muharram, women from the Bani Asad tribe, while drawing water from the Euphrates, discovered the scattered bodies still fresh, covered in blood yet emitting a heavenly fragrance. Shocked and grief-stricken, they rushed back to their tribe, wailing and urging their men: “How can you sit in your homes while the grandson of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his family lie martyred like slaughtered sheep? If you could not fight alongside them, at least bury their pure bodies now!”
The men of Bani Asad responded to this call. As they began the burial but struggled to identify the headless and mutilated bodies, a rider on horseback approached them weeping. It was none other than Imam Ali ibn al-Hussain, Zayn al-Abidin (a.s.), the only surviving son of Imam Hussain (a.s.). He miraculously guided them, identifying each martyr one by one. He personally buried his father, embracing the body and weeping bitterly, before helping bury the others — including Ali Akbar at his father’s feet and the rest of the Hashimites and companions in mass graves. Imam Sajjad (a.s.) revealed his identity after the burial and returned to join the captives.
¡ESTA IMAGEN NOS ROMPIÓ EL CORAZÓN! 💔🇮🇷
"The Treatment of Iran’s World Cup Team Exposed the West's and FIFA's Double Standards"
Iran’s captain was asked about LGBT rights. So, why then wasn’t the U.S. team captain asked about the U.S. bombing of the girls' school in Minab, asks @fbhutto ?

The Iran national football team's three matches were played on U.S. soil. However, after each match, the team was not allowed to remain in the United States and had to return to Mexico, which graciously hosted the Iranian national team with outstanding hospitality.
FIFA should exercise greater care in selecting future host nations, ensuring they are worthy hosts and committed to humanitarian principles.
We sincerely thank #Mexico for its warm and gracious hospitality.
💢Shame on FIFA for dragging politics onto the pitch.⚽️🏆👎
Three games, three disallowed goals, all ending in draws. You can't tell me this isn't rigged. FIFA has clearly politicized this #WorldCup to keep Iran from advancing.🇮🇷 That extra-time goal was CLEARLY onside. Disgraceful.
The captain of Iran’s National Team, Mehdi Taremi, calls out FIFA and the U.S.:
“This is a disaster World Cup. We can’t stay in the country and have to travel every time we play without any recovery. Now we can’t stay in Seattle and have to return to Tijuana. This is not fair.”
Polish referee Szymon Marciniak, who officiated the Egypt-Iran match, must be held accountable and brought before an investigative committee. If the FIFA president is not complicit in this crime, he must be held accountable. We must take action, or we will consider FIFA an accomplice. FIFA has politicized the match at the instigation of that clown Trump. This is clear. The FIFA president is essentially Trump's employee, which means he is bracing himself for Trump's wrath. This is obvious, and the injustice is clear. People are not stupid. He must be held accountable. These are the people who made this tweet go viral. Action must be taken regarding this tweet. Those involved must be held accountable. Sport is on the verge of being corrupted. The most popular sport is on the verge of being corrupted.
