A new standard for customer service in Kenya’s insurance industry begins.💼👏🏽
The Association of Kenya Insurers earlier this week officially launched the implementation of the Insurance Industry Customer Service Charter, marking an important step towards improving customer experience, strengthening public trust and raising service standards across the sector.
The Charter establishes a common baseline for the level of service every customer should expect when engaging with an insurance company.
It is anchored on five key pillars:
1. Accessibility
2. Transparency
3. Efficiency
4. Fairness
5. Responsiveness.
Developed in collaboration with customer service champions from AKI member companies and research firm @IpsosKenya , the Charter reflects the industry’s collective commitment to placing customers at the centre of insurance service delivery.
This is more than the launch of a Charter—it is a shared commitment to delivering consistent, reliable and customer-centred service at every touchpoint.
