This is Jasleen Kaur.

She is a perfect example of why some Indians are leaving India despite having family, friends and a comfortable life here.

In India, she had house help, a personal car, quick delivery and strong family support. Still, she chose London. Not for money, but for quality of life.

Better air. Safer streets. Freedom to step out without constantly worrying. Less concern about what people will say. Better work life balance and better health.

This should worry India.

Indians already pay taxes, yet deal with polluted air, broken roads, poor cleanliness and babu culture where basic work can take months with little accountability.

And then we wonder why our talent is leaving.

India is losing doctors, engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs and skilled professionals who could have built the country.

People don't leave only for higher salaries. They leave when they believe their taxes and hard work can give them a better life elsewhere.

I repeat, people are ready to pay higher taxes, but in return, they also want a better quality of life.
