@BlackSupremeKai Butch Hartman really was trying to warn us about coorperate greed sucking out the fun and whimsy but most of us were either too young or just too ignorant to see it.
@impaled047@YasumiRose You didn't need to know her well to feel saddened by this loss that we're all feeling right now. Its not wrong to feel sympathy or empathy. You're allowed to mourn and grieve with us as she was kind to all and I know she wouldn't want anyone to feel excluded, even now
@YasumiRose Rest easy Yasumi. You've earned your peace. May the light and kindness you brought to us continue to shine as it is our honor to keep shining it on in memory of you. We will never forget you.
As a fellow mod and one of the first friends I made while modding, I can say that your presence was always radient and you will be so deeply missed. Thank you for always bringing joy, even as you fought so hard. Your love will always remain and you will not be forgotten.
A message from my mod team and me regarding our dearest Vanessa (YasumiRose):
On Wednesday, September 30th, Vanessa passed away amid an ongoing battle with cancer. She fought through a long, arduous, and unfair road… She always showed up with the most radiant, fiery spark and an infectious, spunky personality. She was a ball of sunshine ready to brighten someone’s day. That bright presence was always felt, and it will be very missed.
Vanessa was selfless in that she was always the first to extend a hand to anyone who needed help. She wanted to help others learn and was a guiding light to so many as she patiently led whomever needed support through any challenge that arose. And she was very thoughtful in the way that she cared for others. She would go out of her way to show up for anyone and do things for people–check in on them, take action for them, surprise them with something… She would quietly do things for people without any expectation of being recognized; she just genuinely cared so deeply for others.
She was a force to be reckoned with but always came from a place of love and with an immense heart of gold. Her work throughout numerous communities has helped so many people from all walks of life and all places in the world connect, and she always did her best to ensure every person felt comfortable and safe. She was never shy in reaching out to both new and familiar faces, creating unforgettable memories together with everybody.
Thank you for sharing your spirit with us, Vanessa. Your impact is great. And we will miss you so much.
