The rare and beautiful Worsleya procera - from the forests of eastern Brazil. In the wild it often grows in sodden soil near waterfalls.

Our pōhutukawa (Metrosideros excelsa) have bloomed with extravagance this year. These are the cultivars 'Vibrance' and 'Titirangi'.

It was golden hour on this little Anogramma leptophylla when I checked on the ex situ project at @AklBotanicGrdns. So pleased to see it thriving and starting to produce spores #cuteplant

This is Raupō-taranga or Poor Knights lily (Xeronema callistemon), one of Aotearoa’s lonely island plants. It’s only known naturally on the Poor Knights Islands and Taranga Island. It grows on sea cliffs and rocky outcrops. Its closest relative is on New Caledonia, 1800km away.
