The TON blockchain just got upgraded and is now 10× faster.
Block rate increased 6×.
Transactions are now instant, subsecond.
This was step 1 of 7 to Make TON Great Again (MTONGA).
Next step: cut the already low transaction fees by 6×.
Something you do in bear:
You can get free money by simply swapping with MEW. People are sleeping on it rn.
It’s literally: swap $10 or more, get 5 USDC kickback.
Head to https://t.co/dxsHk84c35 (or use link in bio in the quoted post for safety) and try it out.
If you're not using MEW Portfolio rn you're missing out on 💰 rewards literally every day.
For a limited time, every $10+ swap on Ethereum gets you $5 back in USDC. Only available for the first 100 swaps daily.
Resets every midnight UTC. Go go go 👉 https://t.co/xTPMrbJP7Q
Until then, it's a never ending cycle of learning new tools, getting the results, changing the process, learning more new tools...
For the first time I stop going through my usual user-centered design steps that served me so well, and question everything I know.
I've been designing products since 2005. My go to heuristic was always: tech changes fast but humans change very slowly, so as long as we focus on a human we can still generate a lot of value, no matter the tech.
With AI this balance changes...
as tools evolve I feel that the value we can add will decrease and reach 0. (As output grows!)
I think as we approach zero a new meta starts, where we can make stuff that is deliberately worse, and distribute some sort of message that way that other humans will find valuable.
Radar graphs are among the worst ideas in data visualization. The whole point of them is to show the area and you can usually reorder the labels freely in order to create a desired dramatic effect.
Two versions of the same graph:
- left one tells the story that AI is rapidly replacing whole industries
- right one shows the "jaggedness" and reinforces the idea that humans will always have something that AI won't be able to replicate
