We are trapped in under finding loopholes and managing our business. Even in Delhi NCR area ICD Piyala and FBD are charging for ground rent. @nsitharaman @AmitShah @shipmin_india @FinMinIndia

Shipping lines are also not accepting the DGS order No.11, Dtd 22nd April 2020 and do not agree to waive detention charges. As per Order, non charging of container detention charges on import/export shipments to remain in force from 22nd March to 3rd May (both days inclusive).

As per order of The Ministry of shipping (vide No. PD-14033/4/2020-PD VII dated 21.01.2020 ) and Ministry of Finance (vide No. F. No.394/46/2020-Cus AS) ICD's can not charge Ground Rent/Demmurage/Storage Charges during lockdown.

I like to bring to your kind notice that ICD Piyala(Gateway Rail) and many shipping lines are charging the Ground Rent/Demmurage/Storage charges from importers.
