At @UWEmerMed, resident education, well-being, and career readiness are our #1 focus. Our close-knit care teams welcome residents as part of the family from day one, and we wouldn't have it any other way. #ThankAResidentDay#WhyUWEM@UWMedFlight

The beta hydroxybuterate test does as much for us as the urine drug screen. Never helps to alter management, introduces the danger of convincing folks to anchor on presumed diagnoses/etiologies for symptoms that may not be correct and/or obscure more serious diagnoses.
Nothing I love more than when I can step back and watch our @MadtownEM residents run high quality resuscitations on sick patients from start to finish with complete control of the room.
