Our Launch Program teaches high school students about Alaska's natural resources and careers within the industries. Lessons explore critical real world scenarios to help them under the complexity and necessity of these natural resources.

We host several STEM camps throughout the summer that give students the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering and math and how they relate to our natural resources.
These young engineers are putting science in motion. Students at Central Middle School compete in solar car races. Students design the vehicle, powered by solar. The first one to cross the finish line wins!

In May, ARE spent two weeks at Dimond High School teaching "Our Alaska: An Introduction to Alaska’s Natural Resources." From hands-on games like birdseed mining to discovering energy's pros and cons, students left with a greater understanding of Alaska's natural resources.
