In late 2022, the ACR Commission on Patient- and Family-Centered Care (PFCC) Patient Engagement Committee created a series of animated videos to help patients understand imaging procedures they may be about to undergo. Since the launch, the program has gone above and beyond to help ease patient's tension, releasing over 40 new videos and even creating content in multiple languages. Look at how the program has progressed with the #ACRBulletin. https://t.co/7CD7lsqZig @RadiologyACR@NinaVincoffMD@AKrishnarajMD@koolkpMD@pfccdirector@DrIanWeissman
Bittersweet night bidding farewell to our outstanding colleague @RachitaKhot . Dr. Khot has been a member of the @UVARadiology division for 14 years most recently serving as director of ultrasound. She is an excellent educator, researcher, and clinician; a true triple threat.
Enjoyed making this video with one of our awesome incoming @UVARadiology fellows Dr. David Ruohoniemi and current resident. As a specialty we must think strategically about potential disruption from many angles including NPRPs plus AI.

Enjoyed preparing this opinion piece that attempts to examine the implications for radiologists with the advent of AI in the backdrop of a global workforce shortage. Will we thrive or be displaced by APPs using AI to meet an untapped lower demand market?

The nature of academic radiology practice is changing! "Nationally, teaching radiologists’ average total workload increased 7%...when their teaching workload decreased 19%." Glad to work with @JudahBurnsMD and the @NeimanHPI team on this. https://t.co/lpfajWS09d
