Fraud is influenced by three factors:
(1) pressure (financial or emotional force)
(2) opportunity (ability to execute plan without being caught)
(3) rationalization (personal justification of dishonest actions)

The coaches themselves can always make in-game substitutions .
But the most powerful group of people should always be the fans, and then the board that selects the coaches.
The coaches must always be selected from a pool of qualified, dignified, individuals with integrity

To progress as a country, we have to start thinking in systems.
Let's think in football terms.
How does a football team succeed in winning a trophy ๐
The board selects a coach, who works with other board-hired administrators to buy suitable players.
Then the coach trains,
(1)
If the team does not play well, the fans (citizens) along with board members (enlightened elites) should be able to openly say so. Because the results or points earned from matches are not objectively positioning the team to win trophies.
The coaches can then be changed.

It is actually one of the worst things to have happened to this country?
Are we all living in lala land or what?
What kind of country is this?
What does the data show? More poverty, unemployment.
Please news folks normalise asking people to back up their claims with data.
Removal of subsidy is the best thing to have happened to this nation, says Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) Chairman Zacch Adedeji.

The very policy that kept the Nigerian economy sane.
Was poorly managed by governments for years.
But here we have an irresponsible govt official calling it evil.
Oh, this is insanity, not just illiteracy. The media that should push back against this would rather spread it.
"Subsidy was evil and had been with Nigeria for decades..."
Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) Chairman Zacch Adedeji defends the reforms of President Bola Tinubu's administration, saying they were necessary steps.ย

@jerryyomi@romeocza Could she do better? Absolutely. Should she be encouraged to do better? Absolutely.
But look at the full picture and may understand why one faced harsh criticisms and one did not.
It may not necessarily always be about tribe.
@jerryyomi@romeocza No. If they are already running small businesses, it could be helpful.
It was targeted at widows. Keyword: widows.
And it is NOT in isolation as the previous reply noted, hence why one can give the benefit of the doubt, compared to the other case.
Hmmmm! Mr Chairman,
Electricity can affect how Nigerians work, study and spend their evenings. But population growth? That one needs more than darkness.
Nigeriaโs electricity problem is much bigger than whether people go to bed at 7pm. Poor power supply means businesses spend more on diesel, students canโt study after hours, households spend more to stay productive.
In a recent @TrackaNG report, we highlighted how we monitored 16 dam-related power projects across 13 states and found that none had been completed.
Maybe we shouldnโt focus on what Nigerians do when the lights go off, but on why projects meant to bring the lights back on keep failing to deliver.
Nigeria's problem is not an infrastructure one.
It's not even a management or leadership problem.
Good infrastructure, management or leadership are fruits of a society that values human beings.
So, instead of reducing crippling interest rates to allow small businesses access to affordable loans, building state-backed manufacturing factories, and creating real jobs to absorb the millions of unemployed youth in the country, the Tinubu Administration is brilliantly proposing to teach us how to trade the stock market as the ultimate path to individual success, wealth, and national prosperity.
Of course, this is a spectacular macroeconomic idea and I fully, enthusiastically support it. I truly believe that if this groundbreaking policy is fully implemented, Nigeria will proudly become the first nation in human history to day-trade, chart-read, and speculate its way to industrial prosperity.
The only small, tiny question we have for President Tinubu is this: how exactly do we start trading? We urgently need trading capital, and official statistics clearly show that over 133 million of us right here in Nigeria are currently living in severe, multidimensional poverty. To make this day-trading revolution work, the government must provide every citizen with a start-up capital package. This package should conveniently cover money for TradingView Premium plans, high-speed fiber internet subscriptions, paid mentorship courses, proprietary charting indicators, technical analysis books, and advanced risk-management software.
Once all of these basic software costs are fully covered, we will still desperately need high-performance laptops and smartphones. And since professional traders must always be online to catch market trends, track candlestick patterns, and execute stop-losses, the Tinubu Administration should endeavor to either guarantee us 24/7 continuous electricity supply, or at least construct a massive, state-of-the-art solar-powered charging station in each of the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria.
Furthermore, since we are all starving, exhausted, and suffering thanks to the record inflation caused by high interest rates, tax hikes, and subsidy removals, these 774 trading stations should all come fully equipped with a government-funded cafeteria to serve us three free hot meals daily, ensuring we have enough physical strength, cognitive focus, and mental stamina to stare at candlestick charts all day.
Finally, since retail stock trading is a notoriously high-risk, speculative gamble with an over 90 percent failure rate, the Tinubu Administration should make sure to keep extra trillions of dollars in reserve. This massive national fund will be used by 133 million of us to constantly top up and replenish our trading accounts whenever our positions inevitably get ruthlessly liquidated by powerful, institutional Wall Street trading firms like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and BlackRock.
If you think that leaders who are happy to loot our limited resources including borrowed money are all of a sudden going to be responsible when you pay more taxes, then you probably live in fantasy island.
