Snapchat was the first app I ever started creating content on and tomorrow I’m doing a kitchen takeover at Snapchat UK HQ.
Chef Sam & his team will be cooking my Ghanaian recipes for the entire 300 Snapchat team. WOW! honestly can’t believe this is my life right now😭
My mom just moved into her new 5 bedroom house and told me to move in with her.
Her words: “spending $1800 on rent is ridiculous. Save your money and move in with me. I don’t want to be in this house by myself”
Idc what anyone say 🗣️ I’M MOVING IN 😂🤷🏽♀️
Besides having my room and own bathroom, she gave me one room to make an office that I can work from and I have my own living area upstairs.
Mind you I’m 32!! Having parents that still support you after your 20s is such a flex.
My older brother missed my graduation.
No call. No message. Nothing.
Everyone kept asking, “Where is he?” and I just kept smiling, as if it didn’t matter, but it did.
That night, I muted his contact.
Three days later, there was a knock on our door.
He stood there tired, unshaven, holding a small wrapped box.
“I’m sorry,” he said. “I couldn’t leave the site. If I didn’t finish that job, they wouldn’t pay me and I needed the money for this.”
Inside the box was a simple wristwatch.
“I wanted you to have something that reminds you. Your time is just starting.”
I didn’t know whether to cry or feel guilty.
Sometimes, people don’t show up the way we expect them to.
But it doesn’t mean they didn’t care.
“Just wanted to hear your voice”
“Are you good, just checking in”
“I saw this and decided to get it for you”
“I might be asleep when you see this”
These simple things actually means a lot. ❤️
A businessman learned that three of his employees were juggling work with their studies to fund their education.
Moved by their determination, he chose to pay for their university fees, making it clear that his gesture wasn’t a reward for their performance, but an investment in individuals committed to personal growth.
In essence, he isn’t just building a business, he’s nurturing people.
