So, I’m a-kurious: in the wild west of memecoins, what's a metric degen traders seek as a signal that a memecoin is not a rug pull among the plethora of short-term pump-and-dumps?
Can a simple token lock suffice?
Over 17% (170, 000, 000) of total token supply (1, 000, 000, 000) locked. It IS much, and it's honest work!
Wonder what the difference would've been if it's burned. 1 billion as launch token supply is a lot.
So next time you see a memecoin pop up, look for that 🔒or lock the supply when you launch one yourself. NFA
PS: as req of the bounty, I'm supposed to lock some myself, but as I was only a noob trader when I bought $0.2 of @PumpaMeta's $https at 40k mc, saw it hit 4m and dump,👇

Remember, though, locks aren’t anti-rug. Smart whales and bots (bundlers, snipers, etc) can still rug a coin even if the dev’s tokens are locked. A lock lowers risk but doesn’t make it 0. Always DYOR and watch the charts closely.
It’s not foolproof, but it’s an on-chain signal.

Today I decided to take a day off because I’m feeling really bad mentally
It’s a bit strange for me, because I’m usually an optimistic person and I don’t stress about most things. But with a startup it hits different. you put in a huge amount of effort and then things still don’t work, again and again 😁
I know this is normal. A lot of founders say building a startup makes you feel terrible sometimes. And since many of them still build something in the end, it means it’s manageable for a human nervous system. you just need the right way to handle it.
So that’s what I’m trying to figure out: how to stop reacting so emotionally when things don’t go as planned
What helps you keep going without taking every setback personally?
