IMOLE Campaign Council Begins Inauguration of Federal Constituency Campaign Councils

The Imole Campaign Council team, led by the Council Chairman, Prof. Wale Oladipo, alongside the Campaign Director-General, Senator Akogun Lere Oyewumi PhD, has commenced the inauguration of Federal Constituency Campaign Councils across Osun State, beginning from Osun West Senatorial District.

The inauguration exercise covered the three federal constituencies in Osun West, namely Iwo Federal Constituency, Ede Federal Constituency, and Irewole Federal Constituency, with party leaders, stakeholders, and loyal members in attendance.

Speaking during the inauguration, the Campaign Council leadership charged members of the various councils to remain proactive, committed, and dedicated towards ensuring the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.

The leaders emphasized the need for unity, grassroots mobilization, and sustained engagement with the people, noting that the achievements of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration remain the party’s strongest campaign tool ahead of the election.
They further urged members to intensify efforts at the ward and local government levels in order to secure victory for the Governor Ademola Adeleke second term and Accord candidates across the state.

I am a seasoned politician who has been in public service since 1992, when I served as a Member of the House of Representatives, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was also a Senator.

In my 2019 Senate bid, Bola Oyebamiji did not support me, and again in 2023 I still sought his support but did not receive it, so it is unfair to now assume my support is necessary for his political relevance.

Despite political differences, I have remained focused on impactful representation, including raising three motions on the Ibadan–Ilesa–Ife Expressway, which contributed to federal attention and intervention on the project, for which I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
