I love the idea of Tech recklessly taking hits for Rev (even though Rev is completely capable of dodging hits with his speed) #techrev
… I’m a fan of protective Tech 😭
We’re in an era of media literacy where it’s impossible for a character to make any mistakes or have negative feelings, without it being labeled as “bad writing” or the character being deemed “annoying” or “badly written” as well
It’s frankly absurdly annoying
Everyone has the full freedom of hating bad characters, if they can feel disgusted or angry over their actions it means the writers did a good job!
The problem here is: hating people who like bad characters in question for not being like you
An interesting phenomenon I've noticed is that modern fandoms only approve of redemption arcs for characters that were never actually that bad in the first place, which makes the concept of redemption totally meaningless.
You mfs cannot stand actual evil characters anymore wtf
What do you want them to do?
Steal chocolate milk and golden from the rainbow instead of torturing people and being manipulative af?????

@Abe_Doubt that’s what I mean though. it feels weird whenever only the ROADRUNNER is portrayed like this but Wile E is just seen as the weaker and naive part of the relationship which is just stupid, considering what he’s clearly capable of doing. if anyone was gonna be yandere, it’s wile.
maybe it’s me but I’m getting sick and tired of fanart portraying roadrunner as this yandere alpha male. you might as well make wile the same to make it work because it just feels weird one-sided.
the dude is possessive, but not *that* possessive.
