Just watched Don’t Say Good Luck on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve never seen Sunny Sandler before, and she was unreal. Same with the rest of the cast.
It was really heartwarming ode to family and to art, with a bittersweet ending needledrop. Highly recommended!
I’ve seen Thrash. I’ve seen The Strangers Ch3. I’ve seen Scream 7. Didn’t hate any of them nearly as much as Michael. A stick figure of MJ would be a more detailed portrayal of him. Even aside from the allegations, the movie straight up sucks anyway. It’s shallower than a puddle.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This image always makes me think of the opening scene with Dudley getting chased by the dementors. Instantly comes to mind.
@beababoobis I feel like sometimes it’s hard to place every film in existence in to one of ten slots. I don’t see the problem with rating movies but it’s never 100% indicative of my full thoughts, it’s always just a feeling thing.
I love what he’s doing with the horror section. Giving passionate filmmakers a chance to get their films made. And I loved Thanksgiving and enjoyed the Hostels, Cabin Fever and Knock Knock. Borderlands was awful but I don’t fully blame him for that.
Genuinely does anyone even like Eli Roth. And I don’t mean ‘Hostel was okay’ or whatever. I mean is there a single person that likes HIM and wants to see his take on ANYTHING??
Oh man, I’ve been seeing so many posts like this. I love Eli Roth (for the most part) so this is a real bummer to see. Thanksgiving was an absolute delight and he has such a passion for horror, I would’ve bet body parts that he would’ve delivered a fun Ice Cream Man movie.
I’m so in! This is one of my favourite Stephen King books and I thought Final Destination Bloodlines was awesome.
Although idk who will play Collie Entragian. The 2006 tv movie wasn’t great but Ron Perlman was perfect in that role. Maybe Josh Brolin would be good?
Stephen King and Sam Raimi are joining forces for a film adaptation of King's novel DESPERATION.
Sam Raimi will produce.
Final Destination Bloodlines filmmakers Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky are on board to direct.

Imagine being so chronically online that you give a fuck about a celebrity’s instagram activity. She literally just liked a movie trailer, crazy to judge her whole personality on that, but this is twitter after all. I shouldn’t be too surprised.
Inde Navarrette must really love this man because she’s in the middle
Of a possible awards campaign/breakout and knows damn well this man’s reputation but that doesn’t stop her from liking all his posts.. it’s very icky..
Used to toss and turn over ratings until I realised it isn’t that deep. When I rate, it’s just vibes. Pigeon holing every film in history into ten different spots shouldn’t be taken as seriously as some people do. Like so what I gave Insidious and Oppenheimer the same rating!
@TheWapplehouse Sure it doesn’t make much sense, but a logic gap in a movie overshadows everything else great about the scene such as the awesome camerawork and exciting action? I get some people are bothered by plot holes more than others but this cinemasins view of movies is silly and shallow.
“They should have special screenings that prohibit phone use in cinemas!”
We do. It’s called every single one of them, until you weirdos forgot or decided you were above that basic and very functional agreement
@jib_loger_alt I can totally understand why some people don’t like monsters in the Backrooms, but I thought he was a fantastic villain and he was utilised brilliantly. He’s so weird and random that I found him really unsettling, and those extra details just make him even more scary.
I think Insomnia is his third best movie behind Oppenheimer and The Prestige. Haven’t seen The Odyssey yet, but I will die on the hill that Insomnia is fucking perfect!
It’s so hard to believe that Christopher Nolan’s follow up to Memento was an Al Pacino led thriller with Robin Williams playing the antagonist, and it’s one of the most mediocre movies you will ever see.
Not gonna say anything against Navarette, obviously she can do what she wants but I’d like to mention Felissa Rose and how she’s been happily doing the Sleepaway Camp face for fans for 43 years now. She seems like such a legend.
The discourse for this movie has killed my love for it. I’m all for difference of opinion, but people arguing tooth and nail that Sarah is a bad person. Or that Nikki is some angel. Or that Bear was misunderstood. And throwing insults if you disagree. Braindead people.
