Through prayer, Christians bring their struggles before God, asking him to intervene and help in times of need.

When faced with opposition, our first action should be prayer. Opposition may come from all sides, true strength comes from God.

Nehemiah doesn’t cave under pressure—he prays. Rather than giving in to intimidation, he turns to God, asking for strength: “‘O God, strengthen my hands!’” (Nehemiah 6:9).

Prayer is Nehemiah’s constant response.
