The way some people normalize disrespect in marriage needs to be studied.
“Men cheat.”
“Men are not for one woman.”
“Accept children outside marriage.”
“Don’t question him too much.”
Then somehow women are told this is wisdom, patience, and peace.
A marriage built on fear, silence and emotional endurance is not automatically a healthy marriage. Telling women to lower expectations while excusing men from accountability is not maturity.
Peace should not only be demanded from women. Character, loyalty, honesty and discipline should also be expected from men.
Why is cheating treated like male nature but respect and loyalty are treated like female duties?
And if faithfulness is suddenly impossible for men, why do they expect it so passionately from women?
