@winstonorr3 💯 The other part of the development problem too often left undiscussed is that many who leave would love to come back. The « come back to what? » prevents that, and that’s not just anecdotal. And that closes the migration loop. So when the PM says come back and contribute…🙃

Academia rewards abstraction, conceptual debates in its echos chambers etc. Implementation has very little use for that when public service requires practicality.
