Okay, I've been keeping an eye on the whole AGI space, and what Sentient is doing has a really good vibe that the other big labs just don't have.

So I join The Last A.M.A on discord and it's very good..I explain what is the key points of this A.M.A

Key points from the AMA

1/ Decentralizing AI: Nailwal described Sentient's mission to decentralize AI, moving control from single entities to a community-governed model.

The network is designed to be open-source, auditable, and transparent, addressing security risks inherent in centralized, closed-source AI.

2/ Rewarding open-source contributors: Sentient is built around an Open, Monetizable, and Loyal (OML) model.

This system uses tokens to incentivize developers who create agents, models, or data for the network.

When their work is used, they are automatically rewarded through the blockchain protocol.

3/ Encouraging collaboration: By integrating ecosystem agents across multiple blockchains, the network allows thousands of developers to contribute specialized agents that can collaborate in real-time.

This is intended to create emergent intelligence that closed systems cannot match.

4/ Combating centralization: Nailwal framed the project as a counter to the control that large corporations have over AI development.

He argues that combining blockchain and AI is the only way to achieve a transparent and fair open world alternative.

Leveraging India's tech scene:In launching the Open AGI network, Nailwal also highlighted India's potential to become a leader in defining the future of AI.

The platform, he argues, gives India and other nations the tools to compete on their own terms.

Before we get to our biggest announcements, we’d like to respond to the very thoughtful feedback from @Crypto_SunnyS. We appreciate constructive input and don’t want to leave it unanswered.

Let’s go through your points one by one:

1️⃣ Why not reward more than 25K people?

We’d love broader distribution, but it comes with a trade-off: Heavy dilution. Expanding the pool reduces reward size for everyone significantly. Our priority is meaningful rewards for those who contributed the most, rather than distributing smaller, less impactful amounts arbitrarily. This TGE airdrop is just the beginning, participation itself will continue to carry value over time (e.g. via your unlocked FanScore multipliers).

2️⃣ Why don't we allow wallet updates?

We understand the frustration of lost wallet access. However, enabling wallet changes introduces a serious security risk. If exploited (e.g. by impersonation), it could compromise allocations of people with secure wallets. Meaning we had to choose between flexibility for some or protecting everyone. In doubt, safeguarding the community will always take priority for us.

3️⃣ Can vesting terms be improved?

Incentives shape outcomes. Our structure is designed to support sustainable growth and a committed community. Increasing the TGE unlock (e.g. from 10% to 50%) would likely:
▫️ Create heavy day-one sell pressure
▫️ Rendering token value less meaningful for all participants
▫️ Encourage short-term extraction over long-term support

If most choose the 9-month contract, it shows strong long-term commitment. If many pick shorter options, we can reallocate tokens to others - either way, we learn who’s truly here for the long-term.

On your last point: We couldn’t announce terms upfront due to key unknowns - number of participants, token launch timing and evolving tokenomics all directly influence fair distribution and vesting. Also, European crypto regulations impose strict limits on what can be disclosed publicly and when, which must be contractually defined in advance.
