The sad thing is if a Chinese manufacturer invented something like the roadster people would be saying how innovative it was and that the US is behind. But since Elon made it people are coming with pitchforks and torches saying it’s unnecessary and a waste of money #Tesla
@TheChadWithrow Because of those 138 FBS programs only 6-8 teams have a legitimate chance to compete for a national championship. Expanding the playoffs isnt going to lead to upsets it will lead to undeserving Power 4 teams getting another shot after losing during the regular season
@doug_hawkeye I think its cool that teams who won’t normally make the playoffs have a “chance” but lets be realistic outside of the top 8 nobody is really playing for a national championship this will only reward teams like lsu who have the 5 star talent but lost bad games not the g5 teams
@dannykanell This wont lead to more “upsets” it will lead to teams like LSU or Texas who are power programs with 5 star players who lost 3-4 games in the regular season to have a shot at the natty when then have no business being there because they didn’t take advantage of their schedule.
@dennisdoddcbs This is an absolutely ridiculous take. You could pick any meaningless bowl game yet you choose the fucking peoples championship. Id much rather watch the poptart bowl than 2 shitty power 4 teams playing in a playoff game they have no business being in
Lane Kiffin is probably the only person happy about a 24 team playoff. He’ll finally be able to make the postseason solely based off of preseason hype despite extremely underperforming during the regular season #CFP
