@tropicostation Water in the LA River channels can move 30-40 miles an hour. In other words, during a storm it would be faster to get from DTLA to Long Beach on a kayak than taking the freeway.

@hblackson @jake_gotta I'm not sure it's reflective of our social/political pluralism... but I think the 5+2 is the basic background building of a new kind of urbanism. I'd prefer less articulation on these things, but generally I'd be inclined to defined them.
