@arleysorg I almost squealed out loud when I saw the news but had to stop myself because I’m at work. Congratulations! So happy for Fantasy to be back!
It feels a bit surreal now that I’ve sent out my first two reprint submissions in the last few days. At this time last year I didn’t have anything published or even accepted yet. Like, how did that happen?
We're open for submissions until Jan 31!

I really hope 2025 is much better on the personal front because I missed writing but was not mentally well enough to do much of anything, including reading. I accomplished more of that in 2024, but mostly with short stories here and there.
In 2024 I received my first two short story acceptances. “The Rabbits Become the Hunters” was published in the anthology Slay and Slay Again! (Sliced Up Press) on July 31. “Second Love” will appear next year in the anthology Into the Dark from @AWWLitMag.
Those 2 stories were written in 2022, during a year I reached a creative breakthrough after years of very little writing. 2023 saw a couple of stories completed and several partial pieces worked on. 2024 saw almost no writing at all - it was a horrible year on the personal front.
The Year Two Cosmic Background Kickstarter is Officially up and running. Help us continue to pay industry-leading rates ($0.10 a word!) for the weirdest fiction possible.
