Nefarious activity is rife in crypto.
Libra is the tip of the iceberg, and the reality is that’s not going away.
AI and specifically Agents, provide a solution.
Automating out the manual human intervention mitigates the opportunity for bad actors to exploit.
Here are some examples:
i) Reputation Scoring: AI assigns trust scores to projects based on past behavior, warning users.
@ethos_network and @moca_network are developing solutions. Trader Agents like @degenspartanai have toyed with this idea for evaluating alpha sources with "Trust Scores" but can be expanded further
ii) AI managed token launches: Early versions are being trialled. @skely123 is experimenting with $METAV on this. Launches have faced challenges by letting an agent manage the launch is a step in the right direction
iii) Bias Detection: AI scans for inequities (e.g., skewed staking), flags and proposing fairer designs. E.g. @h4ck_terminal kicks the tyres on protocols which can be extended to LP monitoring
iv) Neutral Trading: AI trades based on data, ignoring hype or panic. Trader agents are emerging with the DeFAI evolution.
@danielesesta is integrating @HeyAnonai with the full DeFi tech stack and @gizatechxyz has fully autonomous agents managing $500k in deposits
v) Consistent Audits: AI monitors and flags suspicious patterns or abnormalities.
I’m sure we will see Agents trained specifically for this - auditor agents like @CertaiK_Agent
vi) Objective Smart Contracts: AI enforces rules, minimizing emotional bias in execution. This can be from contract deployment to auditing and more
vii) Third Party / off-chain Data Corroboration: Agents integrate oracles to corroborate off-chain third party data sources.
We’ve already seen @pythnetwork & @chainlink partner with many different Agentic protocols
viii) Predictive Risk Analysis: AI forecasts token launch risks (e.g., rug pulls) using historical data.
@modenetwork uses Bittensor Synth Subnet 50 to provide comprehensive scenario analysis on Bitcoin options pricing, forging likely future valuations. This can be expanded beyond asset pricing
ix) Anomaly Detection: AI identifies unusual activity on insider wallets through cluster analysis. Warnings distributed in real time to relevant parties for immediate action.
There must be APIs for @bubblemaps to enable AI Agents to plug into and monitor real time wallet activity on hyped launches - even posting the Bubblemap visual for us to see on socials
x) Community Sentiment Check: AI analyzes X posts ( @cookiedotfun or @kaito_ai ) or forums to detect coordinated hype or scams
xi) Insight agents ( @aixbt_agent or @agentcookiefun ) analyze patterns and notify core infra projects to disseminate appropriate warnings while centralized exchanges or off ramps are put on alert
xii) Pre-Launch Vetting: AI scans team history, code (GitHubs), and tokenomics for red flags (e.g., hidden allocations).
xiii) Wash Trading Detection: AI flags artificial volume spikes to expose manipulation.
What’s wild is a lot of these will work cohesively as a team to automate an optimal outcome.
For instance:
- The insight/analyst agent monitors patterns and anomalies
- Communicates this to the trader agent
- Who executes a trade in real time to protect a position or optimize its ROI
How these agents are programmed and the data they are trained will need continual assessment for bias.
But it's a step in the right direction to mitigate against the calamities, like Libra.
The agents used in this post are examples, but if you're building any of the above please reach out.
I'm keen to learn and provide coverage to innovative solutions that could change the current landscape.
Can someone explain to me how memecoins are anything other than gambling?
The epitome of Financial Nihilism.
I see cope about memes creating a "PvE" environment; but I'd urge anyone who's stating this to explain how this will ever play out.
Every buyer is putting money in with the intention of taking more money out down the line.
If not, then there's a traditional corporate entity set up for this already; it's called a "Charity".
Here's the issue with memecoins... there's no fundamental value creation for everyone to "win".
No coin will go up only (honeypots excluded) and even if it did, why are holders not selling? What other non-monetary value are they receiving for holding?
There has to be a product or service with real revenues for the initial capital injection to grow. Otherwise this is a Ponzi - new buyers being dumped on by earlier buyers.
If memecoins are considered "collectibles" then congratulations, you've completed the set and paid the market price.
Perhaps the coin is the "product"; a ticket to the thrill ride with the chance of a lottery win.
But those who have become the collector, or paid for the theme park ticket, are unhappy customers.
Why?
Eventually someone will become a "bag holder", "community member", "exit liquidity" or whatever you want to call it.
Turns out these things aren't worth the entry fee.
Yes, you can raise capital from launching a token using a "fair launch" method, but current information asymmetry suggests this ain't the case anymore.
High FDV, low float VC coins meant much of the value was captured in the private markets, which drove the "fair launch" revolution.
This has now been swapped out for sophisticated, informed parties committing on chain obliteration against your typical retail who've been sold a "fair launch" ideology.
The sooner we get back to fundamental value creation, with products that consumers actually get value from, and are willing to pay for, the better.
It's clear that this either needs more regulation, or better systems, processes, controls in place to enable an actual "fair launch" with clarity over what the "product" is so the playing field is levelled somewhat.
Otherwise, 99% of participants will leave with a sour taste once again.
When I say AI Agents I mean on-chain execution
Not the personality bots we’ve come accustomed to on X, I’m expecting:
i) Autonomous DeFi strategies
ii) Yield optimization strategies
iii) Agentic vaults
iv) Stablecoin peg-break arbitrage
v) and much more
Think if it as a complete overhaul of the current DeFi UI/UX, whereby you'll have your very own agentic co-pilot or even a completely autonomous pilot agent
It's likely we will see familiar "ChatGPT" style terminals or voice to execution solutions
Several projects I'm keeping an eye on include:
- @LimitusIntel
- @HeyAnonai (@danielesesta)
- @gizatechxyz
- @getaxal
- @AlloraNetwork
- @griffaindotcom
- @whispersai
- @askthehive_ai
- @AgentTankLive
- @Cod3xOrg + @agentcookiefun
- @almanak and many more
AI isn't going away, it's a macro trend.
Crypto enables AI Agents to transact permissionlessly - something we have only seen MVPs for to date.
Expect this innovation to evolve at an exponential rate as the LLMs (Agent brains) become more advanced.
AI regains momentum as infra players lead the rebound, while some break out into the mainstream

Let's make memecoins great again
AI Agents are disrupting how we interact with Software, and the broader internet:
