The Garnet Williams renewal project is the largest in the history of Vaughan. I am proud that I initiated this undertaking. New exterior features, including a water play feature at the back, to an interior transformation, it will be a great addition to the Ward 5 community.
The Ward 5 - Thornhill community is about to get a phenomenal (re)new(ed) community centre. Garnet Williams is moving along, on schedule , and from what I've seen of the interior, it is amazing.
I had the opportunity to visit the under construction Garnet Williams Community Centre today. When it opens in March of next year it is going to be a wonderful place to play, take a class, go for a swim or just hang out.
This Vaughan largest building renovation project.
The Run for Vaughan is coming on September 25. This great event raises thousands of dollars for the Cortelluci Vaughan Hospital.
