Back in the UK after guiding a Salonika Campaign tour for The Cultural Experience and getting a recce in ahead of the planned Salonika Campaign Society tour in September.

Second day on the Tannenberg battlefield. Looking at operations of German I Reserve Corps and sealing of the pocket by the meeting at Willenburg (Wielbark) of German I and XVII Corps
Battle of Tannenberg Day 2. Cemeteries of German and Russian dead, killed on 28/29 August in clashes around the area of the old brick works in Ameryka.
From the 2nd day on the Tannenberg battlefield following German I Reserve Corps drive into the Russian right flank at Grieslinen (Gryzliny) and the joining of the German I and XVII Corps at Willenburg (Wielbark) that sealed the fate of Samsonov's Russian Second Army
Joint National Trust, Salonika Campaign Society service of Remembrance today at Sandham Memorial Chapel. Thanks to the National Trust team for organising the event, Rev Mark Christian for officiating and those SCS members attending.
RBL Field of Remembrance outside Westminster Abbey was opened on Thursday 7 November by the Duchess of Gloucester. It was, as always, a privilege to represent the Salonika Campaign Society, commemorating those who lost their lives serving with the British Salonika Force.
