The owner of Lindsey oil refinery has gone into liquidation - 100s more oil jobs at risk. @PraxGroup also have workers in Shetland. @Ed_Miliband failed Grangemouth. He must learn lessons, act now. @GOVUK need a long-term plan for fuel security and to protect oil & gas workers
SURRENDERED!!
@Ed_Miliband tells @GrangemouthJobs today that UK Gov can’t do anything regarding future of refinery. They’ve thrown the towel in on us, our site and our country. Disgraceful! @UKLabour
Lovely stuff, well done, women of FiLiA! And WHEN will parties - and employers, service providers and all the rest - realise that NO you can't lawfully discriminate against GC/sex-realist people? And that if you try you'll be taken to court, and lose expensively??
CANCELLED
@ClacksCouncil has cancelled a meeting with homeowners from Tilli.

The RAAC issue has been going on for nearly a year.
The council has failed to show empathy, let alone try and correct their failures. We do hope you make some positive changes.
RAAC is a huge issue for many constituents in Tillicoultry. Many are living a life in limbo with nowhere to call home. I raised this issue in Parliament and am meeting with the residents & Clackmannanshire Council on Friday.
❄️ While the Prime Minster enjoys the luxuries of life, thousands of pensioners will be unable to heat their homes this Winter.
❌That is unacceptable.

The media and many politicians keep repeating that only 400 jobs will be lost with the closure of the Grangemouth refinery.
Over two thousand contractors will also lose their work, forcing them further south and overseas.
What is the knock on effect from the Grangemouth refinery closing ?
It is not just the jobs in the refinery.
Local businesses won't have nearly 3000 jobs fuelling them.
Other businesses that rely on the refinery to provide the raw materials for their work.
£600,000,000 has been given to the INEOS group to build a chemical plant in Antwerp.
That's right. Belgium. Unfortunately, Westminster has said there is no money to protect Scotland's refinery, Grangemouth.
The Labour government is acting in a dereliction of duty.
If closure could not be avoided, the workers of Grangemouth asked for one favour.
A just transition.
The workers accepted that times change, and to be given time to retrain whilst the location was adapted.
This request has been looked over by both Holyrood and Westminster.
Promises of jam tomorrow from @GillianMSP and @mgshanks. Both trying to salvage some positives from the industrial vandalism they have allowed to happen - too little too late

Michael Shanks warns Scots on the Sunday Show;
‘‘Labour did NOT make a mistake on the cuts to the Winter Fuel Payment, and more cuts are coming.’’
At what point do Scots say enough is enough?….. When we are all starving and on the fcuking streets?
A decade on from Scotland’s independence referendum and the country is still closely divided on the issue. But Unionists must see the writing on the wall. Support for the Union is strongest amongst the old. Under 45s support an independent Scotland back in the EU.
